Back AgainI know I'm not wonderful at Volleyball, but I am definately not so bad that I had to be on the team I was. Another problem was that with these beginners that have probably never even heard of Volleyball before was that they mad me look stupid! I was the only ninth grader on my tiny team; everyone was younger then I was. There were two people on my my tiny team that were perfectly respectable. Both going into 7th grade I think. I liked them; but the other three I couldn't stand.
On Sunday, my first day, I made the mistake of asking the youngest(going into 6th grade) to "pepper"(warm up thingy) with me. Ends up she has a lisp and is imposible to understand. She complains and sits even when the coaches told her to stand. The worst part was: She wouldn't leave me alone! My friends and I ended up calling her "mini-me". Surprisingly she wasn't the worst, but I won't even begin to talk about her....*shivers*
Well, the good thing was that 3/5 of the whole camp had practices that you could choose where you wanted to go to improve you skills. So my friends and I could get together then. Then there is dorm/free/meal time that I hung out with them.
All in all, I learned how to play on a terrible team, make the best of it, and somehow have fun: I'm satisfied with this week and I'm glad I'm home. I'm now going to pack for Canada, to which we embark tomorrow morning.

My copics didn't come....*tear*....BUT I figured out that Monday was just the shipping day, so technically-they'll arrive tomorrow. YEA!!!!!!!!!! Whether they arrive before we leave or not, I'm not sure. But I trust this site. They even sent me the direct link to follow my shipping; I enjoy that!

I used to have a friend like that girl, except she doesnt have a lisp, just talks in a really slow southern drawl and is friggin depressing. She was also one of the most made-fun-of kids I've ever seen. It was pretty embarassing. She switched schools and I barely ever hear from her now. I'm worried about her, but all my friends think is for the best cause she's so pessimistic (not that I have anything against that. She's just...there's a different word for it).
